iTouch and iPhone apps for special education

The iTouch has become an excellent tool in the assistive technology toolbox. The iTouch can be utilized in numerous ways in the education setting. The app store on iTunes provides access to thousands of apps for the device. Some apps are free and some have a fee attached.

Eric Sailer ( http://speechlanguagepathologysharing.blogspot.com/ ), a speech language pathologist as well as AT specialist with the La Mesa Spring County School District in San Diego, California, has compiled a list of apps relating specifically to education. Each app listed has a description attached and a link to the app in iTunes.
